The ultimate book tag

Hello Everybody!

So I love tags. Probably because I enjoy talking about myself :P. Seriously though… who doesn’t?

Anyways, created by bookswithbite I present to y’all: ‘The Ultimate Book Tag’

Do you get sick whilst reading in the car?

It depends, if the street is bumpy, kinda, but if its like a highway, I am usually fine (except if I had milk, idk why)

Which author’s writing style is completely unique to you, and why?

I would have to say John Green or JK Rolling… I love the Harry Potter Books more than I love myself and I have read them at least a million times in english and german. Then again I cried my eyes out reading TFIOS and my book actually has water stains from my crying (sad isn’t it?)

Harry Potter of Twilight? Give three points to support your answer

Easy: Harry Potter. Whilst I loved the Twilight books, Harry Potter is just a whole new level of awesome! Reasons:

  1. Complex background story
  2. Hermione has been my role model growing up (my hair looks like hers :P)
  3. Minerva McGonagall is my spirit animal

Do you carry a book bag? If yes what is in it, besides books?

Yes, I carry a book bag (I actually have 2 of them and Charles and I are planning on making a 3rd one.

I have my pencil case, my purse, my lip gloss, my headphones, my kindle, mints and my phone in there. My current book is actually too big to fit into that bag 😦

Do you smell your books?

Books with or with our little illustrations?

With, but only if they are black and white

What book did you love whilst reading but discovered later, it wasn’t quality writing?

Well I used to love every book I read, but as I grew older I got more and more critical, and now I can sort of see patterns for each genre, so I will go with books like Twilight and Warrior Cats

Do you have funny stories from your childhood including books?

Well in Germany we have these tiny books, called ‘pixie books’ and they legit have like 10 pages and I had like 70 of them and I always tried to stay up all night reading them, so I wouldn’t have to go to school the next day and I always got through like 2 books before I got tired and decided to go to sleep.

What is the thinnest book on your shelf?

Probably ‘The short second life of bree tanner’ by Stephanie Meyer or “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower”

What is the thickest book on your shelf?

Probably the entire collection of ‘The Lord of the rings’ but I haven’t read the yet (they are at the top of my TBR list)

Do you write as well as read? Do you want to be an author?

I am one of those people with a mediocre talent. I am quite okay at writing, but I do not have any story Ideas ever. I used to want to be one of those people who work for a publisher and read the books, deciding whether or not they are good

When did you get into reading?

I kinda always have been… My mom used to read to my in 1st grade and as soon as I could read myself, i read pretty much anything I got my hands on. I took a short break when I got my phone (damn technology) because I spent too much time on the internet and didn’t have enough time to read, but now I am right back up there with ALL THE BOOKS

What is your favorite classic book?

I haven’t read all too many classics yet, but my favorite is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. It is a really nice story and shows how the times back then were, without being too gory.

In school, what is your best subject?

Well, my best subject is probably french, not because I am good at it, but because the level is so low, I want to cry. My favorite subject is math and science though, because I am one of those weird people who are actually good at them

If you were given a book, as a present, that you had read before and hated, what would you do?

I would say thank you like a decent person and then put it in my bookshelf, since even bad books can look amazing…

What is a lesser known series you know, similar to Harry Potter or the Hunger Games

The Legend series is quite similar to those books, yet the quality isn’t all that good…

What is your favorite word?

I love the word tedious and irrelevant. They are amazing and describe my thoughts about everyone in my surrounding 😛

Are you a Nerd, Dork or a Dweeb? Or all of the above?

I like to myself as a nerk, which is a fusion of Dork and Nerd that Charlie and I came up with…

Vampires or Faeries? Why?

Vampires like 1 Million times! Faeries creep the shit out of me, like you don’t even understand!

Shapeshifters or Angels? Why?

Angels, i guess. I am not quite sure what exactly Shapeshifters are….

Spirits or Werewolfs?

I don’t like either a lot, but I guess Werewolfs because Tayler Lautner (Jacob in Twilight) is really hot…

Zombies or Vampires?

Again, Vampires. At least they are nice on the eye, whilst you die. Zombies are all disgusting and rotten…

Love Triangles or Forbidden Love?

Forbidden Love, like a million times. I hate love triangles, they are so annoying! And then the girl is all whiny and ewww NO!

Full on Romance Books or action books with a bit of romance in them?

In my opinion everyone should just stick to their genre. Romance books should go full on romance, and a good action book can live without and characters falling in love! (Seriously though!)

Technically I don’t have to tag anyone, but I am nosy, so I tag these amazing people to join me in my tag obsession!

The Girl In The Boots

I hope y’all have a wonderful day!
